Science

My old school taught the subject of Science up until 7th grade when it split up into chemistry, Physics, and Biology. This year we continued with the standard Science subject which held many subjects in itself. My awesome teacher presented rather...boring topics in a way that left me wanting to learn more. Below are some of the works I completed for Science class.

A Summary Of Energy

The activity above was a quick summary of what I learned during a 'mini-lesson' on energy.

Projectile Motion Project

This project was a short assignment on projectile motion. With the help of this lab simulation: https://bit.ly/3NzZoyn, I was able to make observations, edit variables in my experiment, and craft a data table and conclusion.

Energy Conversion

Above is an infographic I created on energy conversion, as a product of further exploration of the topic of energy.

An Investigation into Rock Diversity in Greece

This Lab project was on the subject of rocks in Greece. With the help of my science and math teacher, I organized and planned each step of my research paper. Throughout this project, I got to collect rock samples from many different locations, use my microscope and rock identifier app to identify them, and learn to write a scientific paper. After a few weeks of collecting rocks and gathering data, I had a completed science paper that I was very proud of and had accumulated lots of knowledge that I will remember in the upcoming years of my education.
